Laila has always been fascinated with holistic health and healing. The power of the mind, body, and spirit are truly tremendous. All of this, including our connections to one another and all that is in our universe, has always been very captivating and amazing for her to learn about.
One day, at a very young age, Laila randomly opened a dictionary and saw a new word, “Acupuncture”, with a picture of a man with acupuncture needles on his face and body. She knew then that one day she would become and Acupuncturist and give this treatment to others.
Laila graduated with her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in 2008. During this time period, she also attended and completed an externship program in Hangzhou, China (2007). She is licensed and in great standing with the CA Acupuncture Board and is a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine with the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Laila has also studied the science of detoxification and regeneration, fundamental to healing the organs, tissues, and systems of the human body, under Dr. Robert Morse with the International School of Detoxification. She has an inquisitive mind and a passion for continuous learning. This has led her to study several intuitive and energetic healing modalities/philosophies which she enjoys and sees great results by incorporating into treatments.
Laila’s focus is on Holistic Healthcare for Whole Family Wellness by utilizing a multidisciplinary and customized approach. She helps guide and facilitate this process by utilizing approaches in intuitive healing by connecting with the body’s own innate wisdom. This follows the methodology that the body already knows what it needs in order to heal.
Laila is a wife and mother who understands the importance of wanting her family and the families she works with to stay well, happy, and healthy. She loves people, our planet, and animals. She follows mostly a vegan and plant-based diet, high in fruits and vegetables. She also takes steps every day to learn more about the environment by learning how to compost, reduce waste, and how she and her family can evolve and learn to have less of a negative and more of a positive impact to Mother Earth.
